This is a long-term customer with whom we have been cooperating for many years. The customer has been purchasing from us since 2019, typically placing orders at the beginning of each year. However, last year, the customer did not place an order as usual.
After communicating with the customer, I learned that they had purchased from other suppliers. The customer mentioned that the prices offered by other suppliers were slightly lower than ours, but the quality was not as reliable, and the appearance of the products was not as refined.
I discussed this with our manager and applied for an internal discount for the customer, considering their long-term partnership and repeated purchases. Ultimately, we offered the customer the best possible price. We arranged the shipment before the Chinese New Year, and the customer received the goods quickly. Both parties were very satisfied with the outcome.
